The Mission Team is sponsoring a water well in the sub-Saharan African nation of Malawi where Jim Gray went on a mission trip last August.

While in Malawi, Jim learned that an average household must walk nearly 4 miles for water. In Lancaster terms, that would be the distance from First Pres to Sonic on Ety Rd., lugging about 41 pounds of water on the return trip. Such a trip is made daily, usually by women or children.

With our help, a well will be installed in one village, changing drastically the lives of hundreds of villagers.

The Youth have bottles of water available for a donation of $1.00 each. Empty bottles may then be used to deposit loose change for a further donation.

To make a donation click the blue 'GIVE' button at the top of this page. (Next to the 'Contact' link.) Make sure you designate the gift for the "Malawi Water Project" in the special instructions field.
