Sunday School Kickoff
The program year starts with a special
activity for all ages in the Colonial Room on September 12th. The
children will enjoy breakfast with Rev beginning at 9:30am. This is a family
event! After eating breakfast, the children will report to their classrooms
and the adults will continue breakfast while participating in the How to
Choose a Bible session led by Rev and Betty Davis. Various Bibles and
study materials will be available for viewing.
Smile Train
The Women's Ministry will once again be
collecting your coins for the Smile Train mission. With your help, this
mission provides life changing free cleft surgery and treatment for poor
children. This not only gives these children a new smile, but a new life.
There will be a collection bottle with the Smile Train display in the
Connective, along with decorated cans if you need a container to collect
your change. Collection Sundays will be September 12th and 19th.
Contact Joanne Sater with any questions.

Library Awareness Month
The Adult Education Team will be
hosting the after worship refreshments in the third floor library on Sunday,

offer. If you are not familiar with our church library, this is an excellent
opportunity to visit. All materials may be reviewed and checked out any time
the church is open. Stop by and visit.

The First Nighters will enjoy their
annual wiener roast at the Pool Party Barn on October 5th. They will

hotdogs, buns and wiener sticks will be provided by the hosts. This special
event begins at 5:00pm. Call Ed or Martha Pool for directions if needed.
PNC Report
The group continues to review resumes
