Kids Club Camp
JUNE 1 - 4, 2018
First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster Kids Club Camp was the first week of June this summer. We loved seeing everyone back again this year plus some new faces.
You can follow us on Facebook to see the fun pictures and videos from 2018 camp:https://www.facebook.com/kidsclubcamp2018/
Jun 18-22, 2018
A week of fun and fellowship where kids discovered how Jesus rescues them.
When you are lonely...Jesus rescues! When you worry...Jesus rescues! When you struggle...Jesus rescues! When you do wrong...Jesus rescues! When you're powerless...Jesus rescues!
DISASTER RELIEF ON CALL – CONNECT
When a need arises, the people on this list are contacted. Groups have traveled to Louisiana, West Virginia and most recently Texas. The above picture shows our group that went to Texas last fall, as they presented a Bible to the homeowner whose home they helped rebuild. It is a wonderful opportunity for hands-on serving. A trip is currently being planned for this fall. Consider being part of this Disaster Relief On Call list. (Contact Bob Heath at firstname.lastname@example.org)
MALAWI WATER PROJECT
The Mission Team is sponsoring a water well in the sub-Saharan African nation of Malawi where Jim Gray went on a mission trip last August.
While in Malawi, Jim learned that an average household must walk nearly 4 miles for water. In Lancaster terms, that would be the distance from First Pres to Sonic on Ety Rd., lugging about 41 pounds of water on the return trip. Such a trip is made daily, usually by women or children.
With our help, a well will be installed in one village, changing drastically the lives of hundreds of villagers.
