The choir program year begins in late August and leads worship each week through Memorial Day.

Each Christmas, the Chancel Choir presents a major work with orchestra and soloists.

The choir sings another major work during Lent, again with orchestra and soloists and usually collaborating with another local congregation.  Each Easter, the Chancel Choir sings for Resurrection Celebration along with guest brass and timpani.

Celebration Ringers is a 5-octave bell and hand-chime choir that is an integral part of congregational worship and the Lancaster arts community. The Ringers participate in worship approximately one Sunday each month and perform in the annual Candlelight Tour. Weekly rehearsals are held in the Bell Room on the Upper Level (3). New members are always welcomed. Some experience is helpful but not required.

Adult Praise Band is a ensemble providing multiple genres of Christian music. Those interested in contributing by playing guitar, percussion, wind or string instruments, keyboard, singing or by assisting with the purchase of instruments/audio visual equipment, please contact Nate Ogg.

Instrumental Musicians desiring to share their instrumental skills are also of great value. All ages are encouraged to participate.

For other musical interests speak with the Music Director. (Contact Nathan Ogg at nogg@firstpbc.org.)
